Our Story
Carson Electrical began trading in 1989, and in 1995 became a NZ Registered Company. Chris & Bridget began the company as a home based business, with Mark & Debbie joining the company in 2006 – Mark having been an employee since 1996.
The business has grown steadily since 1990, thriving on a philosophy of looking after customers and staff and always delivering quality work. We now have a staff of 14 with a fleet of 12 vehicles, and are based in commercial premises in East Tamaki.
Meet The Team
Chris Carson
Managing Director
A long time Howick resident, Chris served his apprenticeship at the Auckland Electric Power Board and completed his NZCE (New Zealand Certificate in Engineering) in the early 1980s. The obligatory O.E. which followed included experience in industrial service work in Sydney and power supply system maintenance in London. On returning to NZ he went on to work in heavy industry at Pacific Steel and then started Carson Electrical.
Mark Groenwegen
Contracts Manager
Another long time Howick resident, Mark completed his electrical apprenticeship with Howe Electrical in Onehunga. During his this time, Mark gained experience in mainly industrial and commercial electrical work.
